O Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro)the largest public information technology company in Brazil, released the notice for a public tender that provides for the hiring of 602 technology analysts. The initial salary is BRL 9,025.73, plus benefits.
According to the agency, 361 vacancies are open to competition, that is, they are intended for candidates who do not fit into any quota. 121 vacancies are directed to people with disabilities, while the remaining 120 are reserved for black people.
Vacancies will be distributed among Serpro units in Belo Horizonte, Belém, Brasília, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. There is possibility of remote work (home office).
The position requires a degree in technology. Graduation in other areas will be accepted, as long as there is a postgraduate degree in technology with a workload of at least 360 hours.
Trials from July 23
The public tender will be conducted by the Brazilian Center for Research in Evaluation and Selection and Event Promotion (Cebraspe). The process provides for the application of objective tests and application knowledge, all of an eliminatory and classifying nature.
The objective tests, for basic and specific knowledge, are scheduled for July 23, 2023. They will be held in all capitals of the country plus the Federal District.
The tests of applied knowledge are scheduled for August 26th and 27th of this year. They will address topics related to the duties of the position, such as information security, databases, software development and cloud computing.
The role of technology analyst
According to the announcement, the position of technology analyst at Serpro has several possible attributions, such as developing software, testing systems, monitoring services, planning projects, among others.
The working day is 40 hours a week, and the initial salary is BRL 7,848.46 plus a bonus of BRL 1,177.27, totaling BRL 9,025.73.
Contractors will also receive benefits such as a health plan, dental plan, supplementary pension plan, daycare allowance, transportation allowance and profit sharing.

The registration fee is R$ 100, with the possibility of exemption for those who prove difficult to pay the amount.
