Google pixel 6 and 6 pro are the newest phones from Google. The phone is an upgrade from the last google pixel, with a higher resolution camera and more power in your pocket. It’s also water resistant which means it can be submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes without damage.

Ahead of the unveiling of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, a new report quantifies Google’s manufacturing activity across its current and upcoming phone lineup.

According to Nikkei Asia , “Google’s most aggressive move to ramp up smartphone production” involves more than 7 million Pixel 6 devices. The model breakdown between the 6 and 6 Pro has not been clarified, while today’s report also cites sources claiming it is planned. release 5 million Pixel 5a devices.

The A series phone was released in August and is still only sold in the US and Japan. Google is targeting these two countries primarily, as well as Europe. The Pixel 6 will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Meanwhile, in September, the publication reported that Google is working on its own processors for laptops and tablets based on Chrome OS, which will hit the market “around 2023.” Today’s report says Google is working on “the next generation Pixelbook.” No further information is available, but the report does not explicitly state that it will be powered by Google’s upcoming chip.

This news comes in the context of the fact that Google is long overdue to release a new Chromebook. The original Pixelbook was released in 2017, followed by the 2019 Pixelbook. Google’s new Chrome OS laptop is due this year, but there have been no rumors so far. If the PixGolbook doesn’t arrive in the near future, Google will skip a whole two-year cycle.
